Amber Jean Young is a Bay Area-based artist working in quilting and textiles. Her work is a compilation of fractured images of her natural surroundings. I encountered Amber's work through the Botanical show at Bedford Gallery. Amber's piece was one of the many that stood out to me. We became Instagram buddies and then I contacted her this fall.

Amber Jean Young Amber is the third child of Neil who was diagnosed with epilepsy. Born in 1984, Amber Jean is known for her illustrative and creative paintings and artworks which she displays on social media and on her personal website.
